Bios for Big Bad Storm:

Big Bad Storm is a collection of talent that has a wealth of experience.  They burn up the stage with a force unrivaled.  Instead of bar room classics, they select songs based on the songs of their own merit and deliver! These guys not only spark the interest of other musicians, they send you on a trip not to be forgotten. Blast the sirens! Bid Bad Storm is hitting the city.

Big Bad Storm’s musicians include:

Graham – Lead Vocals, Guitar.graham
Graham toured from Victoria to Winnipeg for 2 1/2 years with the band, Counting 2-10 in the early 80’s.
After gigging with several other bands Graham expanded his focus to the performing arts.
As a member of both Actra, Equity and Sag since 1987 he has acted professionally as an actor, in several Feature Films, T.V Productions and Plays.  As an actor, singer and dancer in Musical Theater Productions and Opera, Graham has performed across Western Canada as well as in New York City where he graduated from The Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theater.

In his current band, Big Bad Storm, Graham’s performance simulates the passion and energy the likes of Mick Jagger and Iggy Pop.

 

Carol – Keyboards, Vocals

An accomplished piano teacher and keyboard player for a number of bands Carol has performed at The House of Blues, Casino Regina and many festivals.

 

Barry – Drums, Percussion, Vocals104093me drumming

Coming back into the industry a couple of years ago after taking a 16 year hiatus, Barry currently performs with Big Bad Storm and Code Blue. As a young drummer he started out in rock bands on the road. Soon after, he was invited to an audition which resulted in a sponsorship to move and work in Nashville. Following a Western Canadian tour of “The Ray Griff Show” he moved to Calgary performing with “Gary Buck” and being a first call fill in drummer. Getting back to his rock roots he joined “Jim Clench (April Wine)” performing originals and covers. He has performed Arena shows and toured throughout western Canada and numerous States. His style of drumming is solid and driving while being very musical.

With 40 years of guitar playing experience, Darcy has performed with many bands including:

WarmWood, Questa, Fresh Air, Sneeky Pete, Mama’s Boy, Dee Dee & the Dynamiters, Sky High, Mr. Tasty, Rock Haus, Blue Dawn, Drive Band, Big Bad Storm. Darcy toured across Canada with Questa, Sneeky Pete and Mama’s Boy.

Recorded the Debut Album “Sky High” with Sky High. Did the guitar work on the 2005 Grey Cup video “Huddle Up in Saskatchewan”.

Freelance studio work at CBC, background for a local movie and Jingles for other studios in Regina.

Darcy’s guitar styles range from Blues, Rock, jazz fusion, to funk.

Ron has been playing since they invented dirt. He is currently playing in two original bands Gleim, a Fleetmac…ish style band and Val Halla, mostly rock but also some bluesy country styles. With Val he had to opportunity to tour throughout the U.S. opening for Ted Nugent in summer 2010. He toured all over western Canada for most of the 80’s with Shaker and has played in a multitude of bands ever since including Carli’s Angels and Johnny Bruski. He is a short notice fill in bass player for many of Regina’s bands.
